WOMAN2020
WOMAN2020 is the culmination of a two-year portrait essay from 2018-2020 leading up to the election. These images and words serve as a time capsule of where we were, where we are, and what still needs to be accomplished from the perspective of 20 women. They informed my thoughts deeply over these two long years of pandemic.
Women are resilient, strong, and making a difference all across the globe. Often without publicity or fanfare. Our world would be more equal and productive if we reorganized the system, paid them fairly, provided accessible and affordable childcare, and voted more leaders into office who understand at a visceral level these challenges and setbacks.
